How I Work
My job as a KAP therapist is not to be directive, but to walk alongside you in your journey. The body knows how to heal itself. Like going to the ER, the doctor creates favorable conditions for healing and the body does the rest.
With a strong background in trauma-informed care, my work with clients primarily centers around attachment wounds, parenting, relationships, and burnout.
I work from the belief that all people have an ‘Inner Healer’ within themselves. The Inner Healer is the part of you that can guide you toward the specific healing you need if you let it do its job. It will help you integrate your body, mind and soul so you can become more whole and connected with yourself.
As we move through our lives we can’t help but create ways of protecting ourselves from the uncomfortable feelings we experience. And while those protectors serve their purpose at times, they can also get in the way of the healing and maturing we are wired for.
KAP can play a powerful role in the letting go of thought structures that keep us stuck in our patterns and paradigms. KAP can help us create access-points to our Inner Healer so we can reclaim our emotional maturing processes.
